Show #35:  Senior Community Service Employment Program

This week we speak with Lisa Martinez and Sarah Mason about the Senior Community Service Employment Program through the Centralina Area Agency on Aging.  From their website:

The purpose of this employment training program is to provide people age 55 years with meaningful employment in nonprofit or public organizations in their community while they look for permanent full time or part time employment. Participants continue to contribute to the community and remain viable members of the workforce, while learning new work skills or enhancing their current skill sets. Participants are a value to local organizations and their clients.
