Show #19: Live from Carriage Club of Charlotte

Show #19: Live from Carriage Club of Charlotte

This past Sunday’s show was the first of soon-to-be many live on-location broadcasts from Radio 4 the Ages.  The folks at Carriage Club of Charlotte were great hosts, and we had a great time.  We talked with Debera Shane (Director of Marketing at Carriage Club of Charlotte),  Ida Mae Hodgson (making her second appearance since her Senior Moments debut), Gabriel Worthmon, Charlotte Watkins, Dr. Roger Lakatos (Resident Care Doctor & Gerontologist at Carriage Club of Charlotte), Janie Siegel (Life Enrichment Director at Carriage Club of Charlotte), as well as The Carriage Club Chorus.  We had so much fun, and look forward to visiting Carriage Club of Charlotte soon!  If you or a loved one are looking for a continuum of care retirement community in Charlotte, NC that provides independent living, assisted living, memory care, rehabilitation, and skilled nursing browse Carriage Club’s website or give them a call at (704) 365-8551.

Radio 4 the Ages Holiday Special

Show #14: Christmas Special

Show #14:  Christmas Special

In our Christmas Special, we dig up some clips from the Radio 4 the Ages archives.  David, Heather, and Matt talk about their memories of the holidays with their families.  Julie Hutt and Debera Shane (both from the wonderful Carriage Club of Charlotte) also made joined us in the studio to talk about the continuing care retirement facilities over at Carriage Club of Charlotte including four levels of care.  The folks over at Carriage Club of Charlotte will be available over the holidays if you would like to take a tour or just drop in for a quick visit.  Please contact them and see how they can assist you. In this show, we also have a great Senior Moments piece from Krissa Palmer featuring James Monteith.  We close this show with a poem from Julie Hutt about a family heirloom titled “The Ring”.   We here at Radio 4 the Ages hope you had a great holiday, and look forward to a fun-filled new year.  Tune in. Call in. Get involved.
