Falls are a large cause of hospitalization among senior adults, and many of those falls could be prevented. This could save time, money, and heartache associated with hospitalization of a loved one due to falling. In our show this week, we talk about a few pieces of advice such as removing throw rugs, using flat shoes instead of heeled shoes, and even knowing the side effects of medication which can lower the risk of falls among senior adults.
